The Christmas Market
The yearly Christmas Market is a return to long-standing commercial traditions of the Main Square. This year, the market starts as early as the 30th of November and is expected to stand unti 26th of December. Starting from 27th of December until 6th of January it will be replaced by the New Year Market - with both of them, great taster, appetizing smells, great sights and a warm welcome are given.
The Traditional Nativity Scenes
Krakow is always bursting with Nativity Scenes when the Season rolls, and this year is no exception. You can watch them in curches, and the most beautiful ones (recognized by UNESCO!) from years gone by will be on display at the Historic Museum of Krakow. If you want to see a "live action" nativity scene, be sure to visit the Church of Franciszkanie.

If traditional Christmas carols are your jams, be sure to check out the colourful and happy Convoy of Carolers (starting 22nd of December). Also consider the Concert of International Christmas Carols on the 25th of December!
New Year's Eve in Krakow
The New Year's Eve in Krakow this year is going to be even more festive and big, than usual! There are 3 stages of attractions and music planned - on the Main Market Square, the Kazimierz and the Nowa Huta - more precise information will be made available on the 12th of December. Be sure to check out what the cinemas, concert halls and theaters offer - there is plenty to be experienced in Krakow during the New Year's Eve!

Keen on moving? There is also a New Year's Run in Krakow! It's the 15th Annual New Year's Eve Run in Krakow, where the participants are enccouraged to dress in a funny manner - and are rewarded for it!
